The BR-2/3A4F battery is used in programmable logic controls (PLCs). PLCs are simply digital computers which control manufacturing processes like robots and CNC machines. PLC’s can be modular with 10’s of inputs and outputs or very large with 1000’s of inputs and outputs. Every battery has three components: the anode (negative (-) side), the cathode (positive (+) side) and an electrolyte (a substance that creates a chemical reaction with the anode and cathode.)
